WeB LinkIng...!!!

A webpage contains a link, where we can go directly to the site/page we wanna go! This links are too useful to us, especially to those who are net surfers. One of our major topics this grading period is linking the web. Then yesterday, December 8, 2008, we made one of the hardest activity to follow. woOsh.!! In here you can learn how to connect a page to another page. Some of us, ask some questions, like "What is link?," "How do links work?," "What is the imporatnce of this links?." How rude, right? Well, in this activity, I have learned that links are playing such a big role in computer world, because, it works as a connector to the web server and web pages.. hahaha.!! What a wild wild guess.!!

Well, encountering a problem, such as in this activity is not impossible, cause it's not easy to follow. hmm.!! It is not new to us anymore! This activity is so tiring, coz were suffering headaches.. hahaha.!! "Whatever" At those moment, it seems like were riding in a roller coaster... Hahaha!! Omg!!

Facing this problems, is not hard anymore, coz everytime we are making our exercises, this problems always occur. As usual, I will ask some assistance to my teacher or to my classmates. Gladly, it works! hehe!

Next time, I will be more attentive, in order to make a better activity than my past activities. Coz, surely next time, those upcoming activities will be more harder...

Hands On Exercises!

Although were still on HTML Tags, we still have some lessons about it that is not clear to us. But fortunately, our teacher is very patient to teach us. As of now, we were learning the steps on how to put a background on our website so that it will be more beautiful. We put some pictures and also a color background. Whew! So hard..!! And because we love to have some hands on activities, we learned so fast. In having this experience, I thought, it would be hard for me.


As this hands on exercises arrived, the only problem that I have encountered is, on how to end the Exercise #7. Eventhough it is not too hard, it seems like it is too difficult to follow.


In facing this challenges, I just ask my teacher about it. I also ask some help on my classmates. I am so lucky, because they are always beside me and always ready to help me.


From now on, I will be more attentive. Also, I will listen first to the instructions given and follow it carefully.

Oh, Lala! An Indifferent Week For Me...!

In a school year, all of the students are very eager to have their school break or so called "sembreak." And I am proud to say that I am one of them...HaHa!! After 5months and 3weeks of waiting, at last, the day has finally arrived. And it happened, October 25-31. Whew! But for my classmates, my friends and I was a little bit sad because, were going to other places, and were not going to see each other for a whole week, and it cause missing each other...Hmm! But ofcourse, the happiness occurs most. Having this vacation, everyone is happy. In setting this vacation, ofcourse we should give our time to our family. Sometimes, we have some outings or "Gimiks," with our friends. But for me, I just stayed in our house. I spend my vacation with my family in Laoag, "THE SUNRISE CITY." In having this vacation, I am contented for what I have experienced.

Every day of our lives, problems occurs. There are times it only begun in small things. Like the problems that I encountered during my vacation. Sadness, loneliness, tardiness (and some other ness3x HAhahaha..!!) occurred on my vacation. This are only some few problems, I have encountered, because I really miss Vigan city and it's people, especially my friends.

All of the problems coming in our lives, there is always a solution for it. In addressing my problems, I just made my self happy as I can. Doing some things that I know that I cannot make my vacation a boring one.

Next year, I want to have my vacation with all my love ones. (Weeh! It's gonna be fun). After that vacation, I am trying to change me, the whole me, for a new look, Haha! So that, It can be a thrilling one.

"Activities & Exams"

Every topic, every lessons, there is always a follow up activity to be done. Sometimes, this activity can be done by making an observation, experimentation and sometimes investigation. In ICT IV, those activities that we are taking up are those writing activities. This activities was based on HTML Tags. And this tags are important in order to make a website. Well, as the time was running too fast, our examination day are also coming closer and closer. As usaul, everyday, everyhour, every period is a review time. It is possible again that the other students now are too lazy to read their notes. It is alsopossible again, that some of us will be just waiting for a grace to our classmates or our so called "cheatmates."

There are different kinds of problems occuring into our lives. But in this case, those problems that I am encountering are not to hard to solve. And these problems are sometimes occuring when I am doing my typing matters. Those tecnhical errors is also one of the problems. In the coming examination, I am fond of this problems.

In facing this problems, as usual, as I am encountering this problems, I used to solve these problems as I solve those past challenges.

In ending this grading period, I will do my very best to get a high scores in our exams and high grades, so that I will be more inspired this 3rd Grading Period.

It's 2nd grading period already. We begun now another new topics, lessons & discussions. In ICT IV, we have already taken on how to make a WEBSITE and WEB DESIGNING. Designing the web is hard to follow. Ofcourse, you should make a layout, so that it will be more presentable. Web is very popular now, because it touches many lives. This 2nd grading period, not only designing the web but we also learn about HTML or HYPER TEXT MARK-UP LANGUAGE. This HTML TAGS are the most common display instructions. HTML is one of the most essential web standards. As we go on, we were still learning for more new lessons.

In this topics or lessons, there's the most challenging problem occured. It is to follow the right mechanics in making a web, in designing it also. It is the mainly problem for me.

In adressing this problems, ofcourse I must study for it patiently, so that I can truly understand it and for me to use it for not only once but for many times as I can.

As we go on to our lessons, I will be more attentive in listening during the discussions. I'll try to understand does things that is not clear to me.

eXaMS.??!!

Having some incoming exams are so very hard to have. Before having our 1st Periodical Test, as usual, in every subject our teachers gives us some review, long test or sometimes we call it as our Unit Test and ofcourse a graded recitation. Every now and then, our teachers were always implementing this kind of habbit, maybe because they want us to be trained well. Before the test, we concentrate in reviewing our past lessons, but one of our teachers inform or shared one of the techniques in reviewing our lessons for the upcoming exam. He told us, that we must review our lessons a week or 2-4 days before the exam, so that the night before the test, we will only going to relax. So far, after the exam, I've got some scores, not to high but not to low. After the exam, there comes the National Career Assessment Test(NCAE). This examination, was only recquired for us, the 4th year students. And this examination can help us/guide us in choosing the right course to take up, when we will be on college. There is a question running out on my head and some of my co- 4th year students, and the question goes like this "Why does the Government let us the student take the test, if some of us will only take it for granted.... Well, it's kinda weird. This exam is easy and at the same time, it is also difficult. In the case, I have learned that be patient enough, always trust yourself and always think positive, so that, maybe in future, I will be succeeding the most successable success in my life.



Having this exams were too difficult to have. Sometimes, some students were very "naiinis," because, every night and every hour you will have your review lessons. You will be preparing yourself in answering/solving some problems. Sometimes, rushing also our projects to be pass at the right time, are also some problems passing before having the test. After the test, if you will have some incomplete of failed grades, you will be recquired to complete it. Busy working, studying, rushing projects, completing grades are only a few problems occuring before, during and after an exam.



In this cases, students like me should always be dedicated one. What I am trying to say is that, we shouldfocus on our studies. We must always do our jobs as a student. Doing our projects and passing it on the right time, as well as passing and doing also our assignments. Reciting during class discussions and participating the school activities. This are only few ways to be able to have some high grades, so that we will not be in a hurry completing/passing all the recquirements needed before and after the test.



Moving on, I will try my very best, in order to become a very dedicated student. You know what, one of my goal in life is that, Ilocos Sur National High School will be proud of me

ICT IV.....

1. What are the learnings/discoveries that I have learned?

~ As we study about Internet we have learned a lot of websites, were we can research and make our projects, assignments and some reports done easily. Here in ICT IV, it can really help us, even in communicating with others. Sometimes, surfing the net can also be our pastime.

2. What are the problems/ challenges I have encountered?

~ The traffic while using the computer internet, is one of the very common problems entering when we use it. Sometimes, when we were going to some computershops, there are so many users, so I consider it as one of the problems I've face while using the net. And some other times, I don't know what to do.

3. How did I addressed this challenges?

~ In addressing or solving this challenges, I usually ask some help from my friends, my "kuya's," "ate's," or even my "tita." Hmmmm.... Because they are more familiar of these problems that have occured.

4. Moving on, I will....

~To learn more about using the net, is always one of my focus, as of now. Because, if I will have some intelligence about it, I can share it with others. And some oTher times "kasi," my classmates make some "kulit" of me,eH.!!! I'm so "naiinis" if they always do it.

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?

* Since our class started on TLE ICT IV, I have learned so many things about INTERNET. We have learned also about the History and the personalities behind it. Eventhough I am using the Internet, honestly I really don't know some of it's uses. We study it, my classmates and I proved that Internet really helps many people.

2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?

* When I used the Internet there were problems occured. Like the appearance of some of the viruses when I am using the Internet. The traffic in the Internet is also one of the problems that I have encountered.

3. How did I address these challenges?

* In those problems that I have encountered, the usual thing I am doing is to exit those web page, and clicking the refresh button or to right click the mouse and to refresh the page. Hmmmm... Sometimes, if I cannot wait for the traffic to stop, I usually restart the computer that I was using.

4. Moving on, I will....

* To move, I will try to understand and to learn more about using the Internet and all about Internet. So that I can teach also the beginners..
